Took my '14 - 1900 out yesterday and was quite annoyed by the amount of engine noise coming through the Fusion radio while using the bluetooth adaptor from my phone. I’m getting my power from the amp’s power source and I’m simply plugged into the RCA wires behind the dash for the radio – as the installation instructions directed. The amount of noise is directly correlated to the engine’s RPMs and is very noticable. If I switch over to radio, the noise goes away completely. Why am I getting so much engine noise feedback and how can I stop / reduce it?

Please help.
